Clacks Council Bids For Heritage Lottery Funding For Improved Countryside Access
We're into walks in and around Clackmannanshire so were really pleased to hear about the Ochils Landscape Partnership's bid for Heritage Lottery funding to improve access to the countryside here.
The announcement talks about aims to increase access to the hills and wooded glens of the Ochils, improve the quality of our rivers, restore significant buildings as well as providing opportunities for the community to tell the story of the area's cultural, social and industrial heritage.
It is one of three Scottish schemes which the Heritage Lottery Fund has earmarked for an award.
(I will try to get yesterday's walk tidied up over the next week, but if you are looking for somewhere nice to amble this weekend, it's still worth a look!)
